THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTEXTUALIZED INFORMATION

One cannot over emphasize the importance of context when in the CME (Create, Manage, and Exchange) process. While we humans have the wonderful and scary ability to cloth thoughts in words which metamorphose to the tangible, it’s so clear we often communicate with an abject lack of context.

We waste so much time within our personal, academic and business lives by scrambling through textual CME process to find or express a point of understanding fast and with clarity. We often fail to get there fast due to the complexity infused within textual communications.

Reading a PDF document that is loaded with textual fillers (wasted words and terms) is a typical example. “Let’s get the point you say to yourself”, “I’m wasting precious time doing this”.

Of course the same applies when we are searching through web sites, there seems to be an overwhelming waste of words and terms, those are fillers that clearly detract from getting to the point of the information fast and with clarity.

Again we can look at Textual documents such as MS Word, Power point and Outlook and find the same issues of lack of context. And, yes this post too has fillers. So we’re all guilty of wasteful use of the CME process.

I have found a great solution to this issue for the information manager. It’s called Context Organizer and this is one of those killer apps that when discovered, we’re compelled to let our colleagues know about.
Here’s a chart overview of what it accomplishes.

Yes it also works as an add-in with Mindjet Mind Manager 7 and 8, and graphically expresses contextual extraction with amazing visual clarity. It is indeed all about clarity, time management and getting to the point fast.

So if you truly want to be a more effective information manager, use Context Organizer, you have nothing to lose and much to gain by becoming a contextually in control information manager.

Of course there’s much more to say about this excellent product, but I won’t waste anymore of your time with useless textual fillers. Now I’ve got to contextualize this post and get the gist of it all (lol).
